Premium Trousers for Women

Good women’s trousers do not always stand out at first glance. The real test comes in the evening, when they have kept their shape after a day spent sitting, a cycle ride and dinner. That is what we expect of premium trousers: a waist in the right place, a length considered in relation to the shoes and a fabric that does not show marks. Our trousers are designed in Paris with this in mind, to accompany busy days. For the colder season, our winter trousers bring together the warmest styles.

Which trousers are in style this winter?

This season, women’s trousers come mainly in three cuts, and the most sought-after remains the wide women’s trousers. Often high-waisted with a wide leg, they allow real freedom of movement and work as well with trainers as with court shoes. The newer barrel trousers curve out around the knee before tapering at the ankle. They come in wool, leather or denim, alongside our women’s jeans. Corduroy trousers are also back for weekends, in dark brown, grey or black. For a more restrained line, straight-leg trousers, close to tailored trousers, carry through the seasons without going out of style.

Which trousers lengthen the silhouette?

High-waisted trousers that rise to the navel visually lengthen the leg, especially when they reach the heel of the shoe. Pleats at the waist give room at the hips and stomach without adding volume, and our pleated trousers strike that balance. Wide-leg trousers in a fluid fabric move with the body and avoid tight creases. Length does the rest: with heels, the trousers should skim the floor, while with loafers they can stop just above the ankle.

Wool winter trousers, from office to dinner

For winter trousers, look first at the fabric: it determines warmth as well as comfort. A pair of wool trousers keeps you warm without adding bulk to the leg and holds a crisp crease until evening. During the week, these dressy women’s trousers can be worn without a jacket, with a fine roll-neck tucked into the waist and a discreet belt. In the evening, a silk top and a pair of court shoes make the trousers elegant enough for dinner.
